窺伺別人內心的黑暗,自己也化為黑暗。
                                                                                
製作箱子捉住魍魎,羨慕活在箱子裡的美麗少女,

《魍魎之匣》我共看了兩遍,舊版、新版各一。
                                                                               
很有趣地,兩次閱讀過程幾乎相同,上冊進度緩慢,看不到幾十頁就昏沉欲睡,
                                                                               
到了下冊猶如倒吃甘蔗,最後努力徹夜看完,
                                                                               
京極驅魔解謎部分一氣呵成閱罷,痛快過癮。
                           
                                                                 
約略比對舊、新版之譯文,譯筆如何不予評論,
                                                                               
若新版字句忠於日版原文的互問互答長篇大論,
                                                                               
那麼舊版應是刪減了不少對話句、補述句,將數人互問互答濃縮成僅一人道出完整意思,
                                                                               
雖內容大致不變,但明顯地違反了譯作家該遵守的「信雅達」三原則之「信」。
                                                                               
提問、回答、反駁、立證……京極最具囉唆特色及趣味性的對談就這樣被削減了。
                                                                               
                                                                               
但新版譯文比起《姑獲鳥之夏》退步了,錯字多了,中文句法的謬誤也出現了,
                                                                               
文中冒出奇怪的”果汁”,甚至成語誤植(成語正確順序是ABCD,小說則誤寫為ACBD)。
                                                                               
可惜,《魍魎之匣》製作再精美也難掩文字瑕疵。
                                                                               
                                                                               
                                                                               
借用書中所言,《魍魎之匣》的餘味很糟。

別誤會,這是誇讚意。
                                                                               
重看之時,仍被久保散發出來的氣息震懾,
                                                                               
我  正  在  窺  視  久  保  心  中  的  黑  暗  。

所以說餘味很糟。
                                                                               
                                                                               
                                                                               
一直以來,我懼怕故事出現分屍情節,甚至怕到看完會睡不著覺。
                                                                               
《魍魎之匣》提供了很不一樣的觀點:
                                                                               
分屍是犯人想從殺人時的非日常狀態回到正常生活。
                                                                               
只要不被發現即可,以掩蓋犯罪事實的方式來回到正常。--那就是分屍
                                                                               
                                                                               
只論動機任誰都有,犯罪者在於他遇上了能將之付諸實行的環境。
                                                                               
那個突然來臨了,舊版說是神出鬼沒者,新版則謂過路魔上身,

那一瞬間,平常壓抑的殺意突然湧起,於是犯下罪行。
                                                                               
所謂的犯罪動機不過是日後追加的動作,
                                                                               
為了解釋犯人非正常的行動,也為了安慰我們正常人的想法。
                                                                               
                                                                               
看似有關實則無關,聞似無理實則有理,
                                                                               
京極的推理,不以事件做串連,而以人物為中心。
                                                                               
所以久保出現在御筥神和分屍遺棄事件,這兩個事件沒有直接相關,但都是久保的事件;
                                                                               
所以雨宮被他人認定是隨波逐流的配角,但他卻是自己打造的幸福環境中最幸福的主角。
                                                                               
                                                                               
                                                                               
匣中少女把雨宮帶進幸福的彼岸,也把久保帶往犯罪的彼岸,
                                                                               
美馬坂自己就是那只箱子,
                           
我一點都不羨慕他們,
                                                                               
我所能做的就是窺看完這只魍魎之匣後,緩緩闔上,收歸封閉的書櫃。
